The specific services to be provided will depend on the individual needs of the student/client and may be tailored accordingly. 2. Confidentiality The college counselor will maintain the confidentiality of all information shared during counseling sessions, subject to any legal requirements for disclosure. The student/client should be aware, however, that complete confidentiality cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. 3. Limitations of Service The college counselor will make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information, but cannot guarantee admission to any particular college or university. The counselor's role is to provide guidance, but ultimately, decisions and actions rest with the student/client. 4. Fees and Payment Fees for the college counseling services will be charged on an hourly basis or as a flat rate, and payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Any additional services requested outside of the agreed-upon package may incur additional charges. 5. Cancellation Policy The client should notify the counselor at least 24 hours in advance if they cannot attend a scheduled session. Failure to do so may result in the client being charged for the session. 6. Non-Transferability The agreement for college counseling services is between the counselor and the client. It is non-transferable, meaning it cannot be handed over to another person without the counselor's consent. 7. Termination of Services Either party may terminate the agreement at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, the client will be liable for payment for any services already rendered or purchased. 8. Indemnification The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the counselor from any claims, damages, or liabilities resulting from the client's actions or decisions related to the college application process.
